Get more from the CareerStructure CV database
There’s nothing more daunting than seeing a sky-high pile of jobseeker CVs on your desk; and there’s nothing more frustrating than realising that none of them are qualified for the job and have only applied for the sake of it.
But don’t get mad… relax, have a cup of tea and use our CV database instead. Our CV library allows you to search and find only the most relevant candidates; so you can stop worrying about losing the perfect person amongst the rejection pile.
Let us talk you through it…
1. Basic search
First things first, you’ve got to search for your candidates; it’s often the hardest part, but we’ve made it effortlessly simple. This handy and simple search box allows you to filter through basic fields including candidate location and when the CV was posted. So if you want a recent CV and want the jobseeker to live no further than 10 miles away, it won’t choose candidates on the other side of the country from 6 months ago. Not only that, but you can choose to have the results displayed by best match, date uploaded or location, to make your search even more specialised. Told you we’d made it easy…
Using the information you provided in the basic search, the database will show matching candidates, their level of experience and what they’re earning in their current role. Our relevancy indicator for each candidate helps make things even easier. Telling you how well suited a candidate is to your role, if they don’t match up that well, the indicator will show you; we do the harsh judging part so you don’t have to…
3. Download CV
So you’ve found someone you think could be the dream candidate, but you can find out everything you need to know about them very easily by downloading CVs of any jobseekers that catch your eye or that you want to know more about. This means you can be 100% sure they match your requirements before you move onto the next step…
4. Email candidate
You’re impressed by a candidate and want to snap them up before someone else sees them…so it’s time to contact them then. We’ve made this part easy too; with a click of a button you can email the candidate and let them know that you’re interested in interviewing them.
5. Message candidate
Not everyone has access to their email on the move, but something that is never far from people’s pockets are their mobile phones. So if you’re in a rush to fill a vacancy and are worried your candidate won’t check their emails before the deadline, why not send them a SMS to let them know you’ve seen their CV? It’s a text message they won’t want to ignore.
6. Download selected CVs
Sometimes you want to view more than one candidate’s CV to let you compare their qualities. Simply tick however many candidates you want and download multiple CVs with one simple click. It’s easy. This is ideal if you want a large selection to choose from or have a bulk of similar vacancies to fill.
7. Advanced search
Rather than wasting time skim reading CVs until your eyes hurt, why not whittle down the numbers by filling in some more advanced filtering elements about candidates? This includes boxes about additional languages, job title, work eligibility and location proximity based on postcode to ensure you only get the most relevant selection.
8. Save a search
If you’re always advertising for similar job descriptions or are planning on searching for candidates for several months before you make up your mind, then you probably can’t be bothered with filling in search boxes every day. So let us do the hard work and find the candidates for you instead. Save your search criteria and we’ll send you regular CV and profile alerts of matching candidates when they crop up. You’ll receive up to 10 candidates every 2 hours, so you won’t have to worry about missing out on the dream candidate; we’ll find them for you. Looking to fill a bulk of roles and worried about finding enough candidates? Then save your search to the CV broadcast, where we’ll send you up to 500 matches a day.
9. Saved searches
Still want to check for yourself but don’t want to be filling in search boxes every time? We’ve got that covered too. Save your search once and every time you log in you can rerun it to see the relevant candidates. It really is as simple as that. Need to slightly adjust what you’re looking for? No problem, you can edit it at any time.
